Ipsy Samples I Love

Ipsy is a $10 per month beauty subscription service that I have been using for about 2 1/2 years. I love how much it has helped my makeup collection grow! With each product, there are usually 5 makeup or grooming sample products within each bag, you can review the product of there website, get points and later redeem the points for more beauty samples. You can sign up here! (Note: This link is my personal referral link and using it does benefit me with extra points.)

I like to research everything before I make a decision. Thus I watched Youtube video after Youtube video before making my decision. While I still watch these videos, one thing I hear time after time is \”I\’ll let you know if I like this product\” or \”I\’ll let you know how it works.\” I never see these follow-ups unless one product is used in another tutorial. With that being said, I decided to share my favorite products that I have received since I first started paying for my Ipsy bags! To keep this post from being a mile long and within reason, I am organizing it by category! Enjoy!

EYE MAKEUP

Girlactik Beauty Precise Marker Liner: I personally love felt-tip liners and was thrilled to receive this one! I have had for quite some time and only of recent has it begun to run out. It provides color effortlessly and I will definitely miss it when the liner finally gives out.

theBalm Cosmetics Meet Matt(e) Trimony Eyeshadow in Matt Kumar: The color payout for this is fantastic! I mean, I really have to be careful when I use it, but it\’s really wonderful. I have been longing for this full palette for quite some time and was thrilled to even just receive a single sample of it… (BTW I have no idea what happened with the spacing here, nor do I know how to fix it.)

theBalm Cosmetics Nude Dude Vol. 2 Eyeshadow in Flirty: This shade is not nearly as bright as the Meet Matte one, but that\’s how it supposed to be. Similar in color, though, it\’s so pretty.  Smashbox Cosmetics X-Rated Mascara: This is my go to for  mascaras. When I use this, I feel like it transforms my eyes into red carpet eyes. Or it looks like I\’m wearing falsies, but that\’s almost the same thing.  Urban Decay Perversion Mascara: This was one of the first mascara samples I ever received and I thought it was great. (I still think it\’s flawless!) Recently I had the option of getting another sample of it with a Sephora purchase and I almost cried I was so happy.   Smashbox Cosmetics Full Exposure Mascara: This mascara is so lengthening and pretty. I love the brush (spoolie, applicator, whatever…).

Naked Cosmetics Mica Pigment: I have yet to make a mess with this – maybe that\’s why I like it so much. It\’s really simple and just helps brighten my eyes on days I maybe don\’t want a full makeup look.

MAKEUP

Bellapierre Cosmetics Mineral Blush in Autumn Glow: Okay, so I know it\’s in the name, but this blush is perfect for Autumn and fall. I don\’t contour all the time, so it\’s perfect when you want to warm up your face without using thousands of products.

Pandora\’s Face Blush in Pink Carnation: this matte blush is so perfect and pretty and ah I love it! It\’s such a nice pretty color. On my skin tone, I think it looks perfect.

Benefit Cosmetics the POREfessional Primer: Fun fact: I\’ve never actually purchased the full size of this. I have received this multiple times, but I like it so much I\’m not gonna complain.

NYX Cosmetics Liquid Suede Cream Lipstick in Kitten Heels: First of all, these liquid suede lipsticks are fantastic, and in this color, I\’m in love.

treStiQue Mini Matte Lip Crayon in Florence Fig: Such a beautiful color! This is actually what I wore for Sweet Sixteen last spring. Also, can we talk about the packaging??

HAIR FACE FRAGRANCE

Organic Surge Daily Care Perfecting Face Polish: This smells incredible and my skin feels sooo soft after I use it! eva-nyc Get Glossed! Hair Serum: I love using this on my hair when I style it. I used for homecoming this year when I straightened my hair, and it made it so soft and, well, glossy.  Naobay Natural & Organic Oxygenating Moisturizing Cream: This is a light nice moisturizer that I like when my skin feels particularly dry. It\’s very soft and and silky and great and aahhh… J\’orel Parker Classico Rollerball: This smells so fresh and floral. (Do those things go together?) Whenever I wear this I get a thousand compliments. Because it\’s so small, I usually bring it with me and my friends are always dying to borrow it.  Skyn Iceland Hydro Cool Firming Gels (not pictured): I loved these when I use them. It was a cool winter night and I loved how they felt on my skin, which was so dry and warm from the heaters! Unfortunately, I don\’t have a photograph anymore as I used them about a year ago.  NAIL POLISH

Trust Fund Beauty Nail Polish in Im Kind of a Big Deal: This color is such a gorgeous, basic color. Anyone who doesn\’t know what to wear needs a color that is simple as such.

Ciate London Paint Pot in Spinning Cups: This color is perfect for spring! And while this is slightly irrelevant, but this reminds me of Alice in Wonderland and Melanie Martinez. Thought that has nothing to do with the polish, I will say that this gorgeous color also got me lots of compliments.

Aila Cosmetics Luxury Nail Lacquer is Mister Pookie: This color is one that\’s perfect for fall and winter. It\’s a deep purple that I AM IN LOVE with.

 BRUSHES

Luxie Beauty Dreamcatcher Tapered Highlighter Brush: I had never really had a true highlighter brush before this, but I was not disappointed. It deposits the highlight perfectly and evenly with a light touch. Not to mention, this brush looks gorgeous. Luxie Large Angled Face Brush: This brush, just like the last is not only beautiful, but works great in regards to evenly distributing the product. It\’s dense but not too dense in that it causes issues. Beau Gâchis Eye Shadow Brush: I\’ll be honest and say that I use this almost every day. It is honestly  my go to. Beau Gâchis Blending Eye Shadow Brush: I love brushes like this. I use them for my creases Crown Brush C413 – Brow Duo Brush: I hate it when you get (or buy or whatever) a brow brush and it just doesn\’t last. This one has lasted me a good while and I also love it.

Just as a couple side notes: First off, I apologize for not having washed my brushes before having taken the photos. Secondly, I did not edit any of these photos, which I usually don\’t any way. Just in general the photos could have been a lot better. I promise though I got a new camera, so better pics should be coming!

Much Love, Jac
