June 2019 Resolution Update

Ooohhhhh! We\’re halfway there!

Y\’all, according to my research (a quick google search, lol), today is generally considered the middle most day of the year. And while I feel like the past week went by slowly, I feel like the month of June flew by so quickly. Between working and babysitting, my head is spinning trying to remember what went down this past month, but let\’s jump in.

Goal Meals

Did I even cook anything this month? I know I didn\’t cook anything from my Goal Meals board, but we did make homemade ravioli again! We got a little creative and did a lobster ravioli which is to die for!

Money & Shopping

Based on my current numbers, the results are not nearly as good as I was hoping, but alas, numbers went up instead of down, so that\’s promising. I didn\’t do much thrift shopping, with the exception of my two purchases in San Francisco. Additionally, I did have one new purchase: the Girlfriend Collective Bike Shorts (I got mine from Nordstrom).  Here\’s my Girlfriend Collective Referral link if you\’d like!

Regarding the Earth

I feel like I\’ve been doing a lot more and better all things considered. In general, I\’ve been eating at home a lot more to cut back on the trash I create and composting when applicable. (And since I just mentioned it, my compost looks fabulous btw.) Additionally, I felt super proud of myself for becoming more reliant on my water bottle, particularly on my recent trip to San Francisco, and for recently ditching the embarrassment of bringing my own to-go containers to restaurants for my leftovers.

Reading

I\’ve currently been reading Picture Perfect by Jodi Picoult, which has been on my to-read list for SO long. And it is SO good. Next I plan on reading The Haunting of Hill House, which I loved on Netflix.

The Blog

I think my biggest issue right now is consistency with posting. As I mentioned before, I feel like life is just flying back so fast that before I know it, it\’s been a few weeks before I\’ve posted and I hardly realize. So I\’d like to be more consistent. That\’s the goal for this month.

Much Love,

Jacquelyn
