Please Be a Doll…

Happy Halloween, witches!
As much as I love every other holiday, I\’ve always loved Halloween. Just as I loved theater, I adore the costumes and makeup and just pretending to be someone else for just a moment. This year Anna and I decided to be wind-up dolls; I got the idea from A Little J+K, though ours aren\’t as cute because 1) we\’re old and 2) we didn\’t have paint or paper to make our keys super cute.
I was thinking today about past Halloween costumes and it\’s hard to remember what I\’ve been every year. I mean naturally I\’m not going to remember every costume, well I might with some help. Anyway… here\’s a little throwback for ya!
2017 – An Ice Cream Cone

I DIY\’d this look with some tulle, felt, a white t-shirt and an old dress (that I pretended was a skirt). I wore the red bow on top like cherry! Though many confused me for a cupcake, it was a fun look to pull off! (s/o to pinterest for helping me come up with this look)
2015 – A 1950\’s Girl and A Zombie

That edit though!!! We love a girl who knows how to edit pictures!! Anyway while running errands around town I wore the costume on the left and that night I helped with a friend\’s Haunted House and was a zombie/scary person covered in blood!
2012 – a 1950\’s Girl

Again, we love a good edit! Honestly, the number of times that I\’ve been a sock-hop girl since the third grade (the first time I was one) is a lil wild. That\’s why I eventually just bought myself a costume – in this picture I\’m borrowing someone else\’s.
So that\’s all for now! I do remember the other some of the other things I have been for Halloween but I don\’t personally have pictures of them so I\’ll stop for now! Also, do you really want to see super cringey photos of me from other eras??? I don\’t! Stay safe and enjoy lots of candy!
Stay Spooky,
Jac
