The Grass in Montana

Depending on where you live, the grass is always different. In Louisiana, The grass is more coarse and often has hidden pointy things that hurt if you run across barefoot. Growing up in Colorado, often the grass was soft enough to lay on and run through without a care. Now occasionally, there was some weed with sharp points but they were pretty hard to miss.

About a week ago, I had a realization that if I wanted to continue sharing outfits on my blog or instagram, I would either have to ask a thousand people to take my pictures or the next few months would be filled primarily with mirror seflies… or I could buy a tripod! So that\’s what I did. I ordered this one from Amazon and because it came in, I haven\’t had the chance to really experiment with it. One thing I also haven\’t really experimented with, which is equally important, is the self timer. I think I\’ve used it maybe once, but never by myself.

With that being said, yesterday, I wanted some outfit pictures, I couldn\’t decide on shoes, and my cousin has a gorgeous backyard… so I went with it! I worked on using the self-timer and because of my shoeless-ness and the soft Montana grass, I was able to run through the yard quickly after pressing the button. Now, This is only my first time working with the self-timer sans tripod (and clearly I need some practice!), but I think the pictures came out pretty good! The tripod should make it easier to adjust where the height and stuff, but her steps worked well!

Anyway, I hope you all have a beautiful weekend!

Much Love,

Jac
