Your Local Christmas Shopping Guide | Lafayette, LA
The holiday season is right around the corner, and with all the concerns with the supply chain there's no shame in starting your Christmas shopping early! Now, I'm sure we've all heard this time and time again, but it's so important to shop local and support small business. Below I have a few local business from my hometown that I plan to shop from when I go back to my hometown of Lafayette. Some of them also have online websites so you can support them even if you aren't in town!
Bevo's

First up is Bevo's! While this little shop is primarily a clothing store, there's lots of little goodies in the store that make for great gifts! My favorites are the coasters with luxury brand logos. Each one is slightly different due to the nature in which they're made but they are so chic. You could pick based on color or brand and mix and match! Other options include the room sprays, which smell amazing by the way, and the wide collection of fun earrings. (I couldn't find a picture for you, but I worked there in the spring and would admire them the whole time during my shift!) You could also give the gift of a gift card! They don't have an online site, but here are the links to their Facebook and Instagram accounts where you can peak at the arrange of clothing and gifts they sell.
Caroline and Co.

Anyone whose been in Lafayette for any period of time knows and loves Caroline and Co. It's a massive little gift shop with something for everyone and they have an online site. They have everything from kitchen ware to clothing and candles. It almost reminds me of a local version of Anthropologie. Some of the items I'll be looking at are the Voluspa candles, their quirky dish towels, and their unique dog toys. Looking at their online site, I would venture to say that they have a lot more in their store for your browsing pleasure.
The Pink Paisley

In the process of making this little shopping guide I peaked at the Pink Paisley Instagram the first thing that caught my eye was the Kitchen Boa. I've never seen it before, but it is definitely going on my list of things to get for someone this year! In addition to kitchen boas, they sell other candles, drinkware and fashion accessories. They also have some adorable dog toys because I will never pass up an opportunity to spoil my dogs!
Of course there are plenty other local gift shops to shop for this holiday season across the country. Some of my other favorites in Lafayette include The Silver Suitcase, Louisiana Hot Stuff, and The Velvet Monkey. I hope this helps you as you start to make your Christmas Shopping lists!
Much Love, Jacquelyn
